3. I’m looking forward to the upcoming season. Just wondering if anyone had been bat shopping yet this year. Anybody know what the hot bat for this year is supposed to be?

4. Mike Singletary, an outstanding college and NFL football player, voiced the passion of most kids when he said, “Do you know what my favorite part of the game is? The opportunity to play.” I’m glad it wasn’t to live out his father’s dreams! Let’s help the kids to enjoy baseball this year.

5. Can’t wait for practice to get going. We have a shorter time this year to get the players in shape and ready for opening day. But it can be done with a lot of work.

   Don’t forget to help out with the Challenger program this year. It’s so much fun and you’ll love every minute of it.

6. Got together for first time last night. Man it felt great to see the guys for the first time and to start a new season.
